Human Pace

Human Pace Ltd · Wellbeing apps

Made at human pace.

There is a speed a person is built to move at, and modern life runs faster than it. We make small, quiet apps for people looking after their own bodies, one steady day at a time.

What we believe

Not every upgrade is an improvement.

Somewhere along the way, the manufactured version started to look like progress:

  • Thick cushioning instead of strong feet.
  • Twelve ingredients instead of four.
  • The same waking hours in December as in June.

Effort isn't the problem. The problem is assuming faster, softer and more is always better. Each thing we make takes that idea to a different corner of everyday life, and asks what the human-speed version looks like.

How we build

A floor as well as a ceiling.

Our apps are for adults working things out for themselves, not for chasing the last one per cent. So there are a few things you won't find in them.

No streaks

A bad day is a day. Nothing resets, nothing scolds, and a missed day is never a debt to repay.

No leaderboards

The only person worth measuring against is you, on an ordinary week.

No pushing

Every plan knows when to hold, when to ease off and when to stop.

Our first apps arrive in 2027.

The newsletter

One letter a fortnight.

Written from something we learned that fortnight, about bodies, habits and the speed of modern life, plus the story of building Human Pace as it happens.

Or read it on Substack.
